Our committee’s mission is to call for more comprehensive training of all healthcare providers in providing equitable, size inclusive care.
We hope to advocate for change at institutional, local, and national levels, and equip medical students with resources to join the campaign.
We promote initiatives aimed at…
- eliminating weight bias in medicine
- making healthcare more equitable for patients in larger bodies
- educating medical professionals about the full spectrum of eating disorders
